Closet City wins the 2010 Contractor of the Year (CotY) Award.
In 2010, this home office and walk-in closet project designed by Janet Stevenson earned Closet City both a NARI CotY award and a CLOSETS magazine Top Shelf Design Award. These were the first of several awards she would win over the following few years.
This 1900’s era residence in Philadelphia needed a spare bedroom remodeled. Our client wanted to provide a functional home office with a creative work area and ample file storage. She also wanted to be able to display her product materials and inventory. The placement of her desk and file storage around and under the windows provided maximum use of the wall space. It also gave the room’s interior ample floor space for a comfortable seating arrangement.
The project also included the remodeling of an enclosed “sleeping porch” to create a custom walk-in closet. Utilizing our Chocolate Pear laminated melamine, this walk-in features his-and-hers hanging areas, shelving, valet rods, and a center island filled with banks of drawers. It also has a vanity, an entire wall of shoe shelves, and a long row of low cabinets with upholstered seating under several windows.
Closet City can provide custom storage solutions for all rooms of your home. If you provide the space, we provide the solution!
